Who these terms are with

This directory is operated by Blacktip Digital, a marketing agency based in the Miami, Florida area. Using the site means accepting the terms on this page. Questions go to [email protected].

Directory information

The Flamingo List publishes business information for general reference. Details can become outdated or contain errors. Confirm hours, services, pricing, licenses, insurance, availability, and service areas directly with the business before making a decision.

Featured listings and paid placement

Businesses can pay to be featured. A featured listing appears above other listings on category and area pages and is labelled Featured wherever that ordering applies, alongside a note explaining that featured businesses paid for the position.

Placement is the only thing that money changes. Paying does not affect whether a business is listed, what its published details say, or whether a correction is accepted, and it buys no review, rating, or vetting of the business.

No endorsement

A listing does not mean The Flamingo List endorses, certifies, vets, or guarantees a business, and neither does a featured position or an expanded premium profile. We do not verify licensing, insurance, or work quality. Choosing a business from this directory is your decision.

Claims and corrections

You may submit a claim only if you own the business or have authority to represent it. You agree to provide accurate contact information and corrections. We may request additional verification before changing a listing, and we may decline a change we cannot substantiate.

Corrections and removals are free and are not conditioned on any purchase. The process is described in the privacy policy.

Premium listings, pricing, and renewal

Premium listings are sold as an annual term, billed in advance. The founding rate is $149 per year and is available to the first 25 businesses that purchase. After those 25, the rate for new purchases is $249 per year. Businesses that bought at the founding rate keep it on renewal for as long as the listing stays active without lapsing.

Premium listings renew automatically. Unless you cancel, your listing renews for another year on its anniversary date and the card on file is charged the same annual rate. We email a reminder before each renewal, to the address on the account, showing the renewal date and the amount.

You can cancel at any time, by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your premium listing stays active through the end of the term you have already paid for, and then reverts to a standard free listing.

Payments are non-refundable. We do not refund an annual term once it has been paid, in whole or in part, including the unused portion after a cancellation. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the following year.

We may change what a premium listing includes, and we may change the price for future terms. We will tell you before a change affects a renewal. Changes never alter a term you have already paid for.

Website use

Do not use the site to submit false claims, interfere with its operation, collect personal information unlawfully, or copy the directory in bulk without permission. Automated scraping of the listings is not permitted.

Ownership

The Flamingo List name, logo, page design, written copy, and the compiled directory as a whole belong to Blacktip Digital. Individual business details remain facts about those businesses. You may link to any page here freely.

Disclaimer and limits

The site and the information on it are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Blacktip Digital is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of this site or from any dealing with a business you found through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or remove listings and site features. We do not guarantee that the site or any listing will remain available at all times.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the directory changes. The effective date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use the site after a revision means accepting it.
