Who operates this directory

The Flamingo List is operated by Blacktip Digital, a marketing agency based in the Miami, Florida area. Questions about this policy, or about any information published here, go to [email protected].

Information published on business listings

The directory publishes business contact information drawn from public sources and from corrections submitted by owners and their representatives. This may include a business name, address, phone number, website, location, category, and business hours.

Listings are published without the business being asked first. That is normal for a directory, and it is why the removal process below exists and is free.

Removing or correcting a listing

If you own a business listed here, or have authority to represent it, you can ask us to correct the listing or take it down entirely. Email [email protected] or use the claim and correction form. Say which listing you mean and whether you want it corrected or removed.

There is no charge for a correction or a removal, and neither depends on buying anything. We may ask for enough information to confirm your connection to the business before we act, so that a competitor cannot alter or delete someone else's listing.

Information submitted through the claim form

When you submit a claim or correction, we collect the listing identifier and listing URL, your name, your role at the business, your email address, your phone number, and the notes you provide. We use this information to check your relationship to the business, to respond to you, and to update the listing where a change is warranted.

How we contact you after a claim

We may contact you by email or phone about the claim you submitted and the listing it relates to, because that is what you asked us to look at.

Submitting a claim also opts you in to text and email updates about your listing and Flamingo List offers. The checkbox on the form says so, it sits directly above the submit button, and we record the exact wording you agreed to along with the date and time. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

Getting out is immediate and costs you nothing. Reply STOP to any text to end texts, use the unsubscribe link in any email to end emails, or email [email protected] to end both. Opting out does not affect your listing, your claim, or your ability to request corrections and removals, all of which stay free.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes ordinary web request data such as IP address, browser user agent, and requested URL in order to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. Claim submissions are forwarded to GoHighLevel, the customer relationship platform Blacktip Digital uses to manage business communications. Both providers process this information on our behalf.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This site sets no cookies and runs no executable JavaScript. There are no advertising pixels, no analytics scripts, no chat widgets, no session tracking, and no accounts to log in to. Nothing on these pages follows you to another website.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share claim submissions with third parties for their own marketing. Published business listing details are, by the nature of a public directory, visible to anyone.

Keeping information

Claim submissions are kept for as long as we need them to maintain the directory record and the business relationship they relate to. Ask us to delete your submission and we will, except where we need to keep something in order to honour a removal request or meet a legal obligation.

Children

This directory lists businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the directory changes. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Material changes to how claim information is handled will be reflected here before they take effect.
